INCLUSIVE DESIGN(ERS)

In 2019 I founded The POC Designers Meetup. It offers a safe and joyous space for POC folks in visual, UX, and product design. Bringing post-its and sharpies to our happy hour socials (gorilla research), I leveraged human-centered design strategies to co-create an inclusive community with events and services in direct response to user needs and research insights.

Together, we answer the questions:

How might we create an inclusive cross-identity community?
How might we create safety and belonging?
How might we validate and hold space for our POC experiences?
How might we support POC designers and product folk in building their careers?
How might we showcase POC work, talent, and perspectives?
